Edgar Schmidt has worked as a classroom teacher from the primary grades through high school, and as a school principal for both regular and alternate stream programs. His graduate work at the University of Alberta focused on the sociology of education, and Edgar continues to be involved in research related to effective schooling and instructional strategies.
Edgar currently works as the Supervisor for Research Support and Resource Development Services in Edmonton Public Schools.
