Although they may not be aware of it, there are few people in Canada who have not seen Irma Coucill's portraits. Beginning in 1960, her work has been syndicated in newspapers across the country and featured in numerous books. Her work is featured in major government buildings, including Rideau Hall. Irma has created portraits for all of the inductees into the Canadian Hockey Hall of Fame, Canada's Aviation Hall of Fame, Canadian Business Hall of Fame, Canadian Indian Hall of Fame, and Canadian Medical Hall of Fame.
